The first line decides the email

Free cold outreach generator that writes a personalized subject line and email per prospect from a pasted list or a CSV, in five tones and ten languages.

Why it matters

Most generated outreach opens with a compliment the sender never earned. "I loved your recent post" tells a prospect that nobody looked, and the rest of the email is read, if at all, as noise. The opener has to name something true and specific, and it has to be something the reader knows you could only have found by looking.

Icebreak writes each email from the context you supply per prospect: a role, a launch, a hiring push, a line lifted off their site. That context drives the icebreaker, the subject line, and the ask, so the email reads as one thought rather than a template with a name dropped into it.

What the tool does

Paste a list or upload a CSV of up to 50 prospects, describe what you sell in a sentence or two, then pick a tone and a language. You get a subject line and a body per prospect, each one editable in place, each one regeneratable on its own with your own instruction. Export the set as CSV, copy it, or open any single email straight into Gmail.

Two modes. Personalized writes every email from that prospect's context. Template takes copy you already approved and varies only the parts that should vary, which is what you want once a sequence is working and the structure has to hold.

Terms worth knowing

Icebreaker
The opening line that names something specific and true about the prospect. The single highest-leverage sentence in a cold email.
Lead context
The free-text note you attach to each prospect. Output quality tracks this input more closely than any other setting.
Personalized mode
Every email is written from that prospect's own context, structure included.
Template mode
Your approved copy keeps its shape while the personalized parts are rewritten per prospect.
Call to action
The ask that closes the email. A low-friction question converts colder lists better than a calendar link does.
Deliverability
Whether the message reaches an inbox at all. Decided by domain authentication, sending volume, and list quality, not by the words.

Frequently asked questions

Short answers for the decisions that usually come up after a first run.

Is Icebreak free?

Yes. No account, no sign-up, and no credit card. One run handles up to 50 prospects, and you can run it as often as you like.

What columns should my CSV have?

Name, company, context, and email. Headers are matched automatically, so common variants work: first or contact or prospect for the name, organization or account or business for the company, notes or role or title or website for the context. Anything it maps wrong you can remap by hand before generating.

Can I use my own email template?

Yes. Switch to Template mode and paste the copy you already approved. The structure and your calls to action stay put; only the personalized parts get rewritten for each prospect.

Which languages are supported?

Ten: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Uzbek, Hindi, and Japanese. The tone setting applies in every one of them.

How long are the emails?

That follows the tone. Short and Direct holds under 75 words. Friendly, Professional, Casual, and Bold run longer, though all of them stay inside the length a cold prospect will actually read on a phone.

Will these emails land in the inbox?

Copy is one input to that, and not the biggest one. Deliverability is mostly domain authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), a warmed sending domain, sane daily volume, and a clean list. Good writing keeps a well-configured domain out of trouble; it cannot rescue a cold one.

Can I edit an email after it is generated?

Yes. Every email opens for editing in place, and any single one can be regenerated on its own with a custom instruction, a different tone, or a different language, without touching the rest of the batch.
