Use the Dashboard
Read what your squad is working on, what waits on you, today's scheduled runs, the credits you used, finished reports, and recent activity, section by section.
The top of the page
The Dashboard is titled Overview. The button on the right, Message and your lead's name, opens Chat with your lead.
The four numbers
These four cards count your squad's work and what waits on you.
| Card | What the number counts |
|---|---|
| Active agents | Squad members with at least one task running now. The line under it counts your whole squad. |
| In progress | Tasks with a run going now and no open ticket |
| Waiting on you | Open tickets |
| Done today | Tasks finished since midnight, on your computer's clock |
In progress and Done today also count child tasks, the smaller pieces inside a bigger task. Child tasks don't show as cards on Tasks, so these numbers can be higher than the board.
Today’s schedule
This panel lists each scheduled job that runs today, earliest first. Each row shows its time in 24-hour form, its name, the squad member who runs it, and where the result goes. A paused job is left out. A job with no single time of day shows Custom, or Recurring when it runs every minute.
Select a row to open that job on Calendar. With nothing today, the panel names the next job and when it runs. If you see "Schedule unavailable", open Calendar to load it again.
Needs you
This panel shows your oldest open ticket: who asked, the kind of answer it needs, and Urgent or High priority when it has that priority. The number beside the heading counts every open ticket.
Select the card to open that ticket on Tasks > Tickets. When more wait, select Review queue under it for the full list. To answer, see Answer questions and approve drafts.
When your squad suggested more work, a line such as "4 suggestions waiting" shows, with View to open Tasks > Suggestions. Suggestions aren't in the Needs you count, because no work waits on them.
Credits consumed
This panel shows the credits used each day for the last 14 days. Point at a column, or select the chart and use the arrow keys, to read that day's credits and the change from the day before. The day with the most credits is marked Peak usage.
Credits pay only for research lookups, such as web searches, page reads, and a live browser. Your AI provider bills you for the model, so that cost never shows here. See What SquadRoom costs and what uses credits. View usage opens Settings > Usage.
Latest outcomes
Each row is one report on a finished task: unread first, then read, newest first in each group. A count such as 2 unread shows when reports wait. A task you send back for changes shows again with its new report.
Select a row to read more of the report and mark it read. An open row lists up to 2 docs the report saved. Select one to read it at the exact version saved with the report. Helped by names each squad member that added a part.
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Open Task (the arrow) | Opens the task on Tasks |
| Dismiss Report (the X) | Removes the row from this panel. The task and its report stay on Tasks. |
The panel shows 3 rows at first. Show more Reports, or Load older Reports, under the list shows more, and View all Tasks opens Tasks.
A child task gets no report here. It hands its result to the task above it.
Squad on duty
This panel lists every squad member with its task now, or else its last task. The status on the right is one of these:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Working, or Working on 3 | One or more of its tasks have a run going now. |
| Waiting on you | Nothing is running for it, and one of its tasks waits on a ticket. |
| A time, such as 3h ago | Nothing is running. Its last task last changed then. |
| Idle | It has no tasks yet. |
Select a squad member with a current task to open that task.
Recent activity
This panel lists what happened across your squad, newest first. Each entry shows who did it, what happened, such as "completed" or "moved Queued to Done", and the task. System marks an entry with no squad member behind it.
Select an entry that names a task to open it. Scroll down for older entries.
What the Dashboard doesn't do
- It doesn't answer tickets, start suggestions, or change tasks. Each link opens the page where you do that.
- The four number cards aren't links.
- The credits chart covers 14 days only. For more, open Settings > Usage.
- A dismissed report doesn't come back to Latest outcomes. Open it from its task on Tasks.
If something goes wrong
Opening the row didn't save it as read.
Close the row and select it again.
Dismiss Report didn't save.
Select Dismiss Report again.
A doc version the report saved is gone. The rest of the report still opens.
If the doc still exists, open it on Docs for its current version.
