Manage your subscription, credits, and workspace
Subscribe to the Launch plan, read the Billing tab, update your payment details or cancel, get a refund, and buy credit packs. Back up, restore, or reset your workspace.
Open Billing
Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, select Settings, then Billing. You see Subscription, Buy credits, and Billing History.
Subscribe
You subscribe during setup, before your workspace is built: select Continue to checkout · $49/month and pay. Setup moves on once the payment is confirmed.
If Billing shows the Free plan, select Upgrade to Launch and pay. You come back to Settings.
Read the Subscription card
| Field | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Current plan | Launch or Free |
| Price | The list price, $99 / month, for Launch. $0 for Free. Your invoices show what you paid. |
| Status | One of the badges below |
| Billing cycle | Monthly, or No billing on Free |
| Next renewal or Access until | The date your plan renews, or the date your access ends |
| Billing access | Organization owner |
| Badge | What it means |
|---|---|
| Active | Paid access. The plan renews each month, and each renewal brings 1,000 credits. |
| On hold | Paid access continues, and the allowance still arrives. |
| Cancelled | Paid access runs to the end of the period you paid for. Then the plan doesn't renew. |
| Expired or Payment failed | No paid access, so your squad is paused. Unused included credits expire. Purchased credits stay. |
| Pending | No paid access yet. |
Update your payment details or cancel
Open the billing portal
Select Manage subscription on the Subscription card. The payment provider's billing portal opens in the same tab.
Make the change
Update your payment details, or cancel your subscription.
Come back
The portal returns you to Settings, and the Subscription card shows the new status.
When you cancel
- No more monthly charges are made.
- You keep full access until the end of the period you paid for.
- There is no refund for the rest of the period, unless you're within the 7-day guarantee below.
- Included credits expire at the end of the period. Purchased credits stay.
- Cancelling deletes nothing: your squad, tasks, docs, and backups stay in your workspace.
When your plan ends
When a cancelled plan reaches the end of its period, or a payment fails, your squad is paused until you subscribe again. If the plan is active again before that date, nothing pauses.
- No task, scheduled job, or Chat reply runs, and your Telegram bot stops answering.
- Instead of the dashboard, you see "Your plan ended on" and the date. Your squad members, tasks, and docs are all kept.
- You can't connect apps or buy credits while the plan has ended.
To start again:
- Select Subscribe again, on that screen or in Settings > Billing, and pay.
- You see "Confirming your payment", then "Starting your squad again".
- Your squad picks up where it left off, usually within a minute.
Get a refund
| What you paid for | Refund rule | How to ask |
|---|---|---|
| A subscription payment | A full refund within 7 days of that payment | Email [email protected] |
| A credit pack | A refund within 7 days of purchase, while none of its credits are spent. A pack you used credits from is final. | Email [email protected] |
| Your monthly included credits | No cash value. They reset each billing cycle. | Not refundable |
| Model usage | Your AI provider bills it, so SquadRoom can't refund it. | Ask your provider |
- A refund goes to your original payment method and usually arrives within 5 to 10 business days.
- When a pack is refunded, its credits leave your balance.
- The refund shows in Billing History as Refund.
Buy credits
Credits come in packs of 5,000 for $10. Purchased credits never expire and are used after your monthly credits.
Open Buy credits
Open Settings > Billing and find Buy credits, the Additional Credits Pack card. Top up credits in the sidebar and Buy credits under Usage in the account menu open it too.
Choose how many packs
Use the minus and plus buttons to pick 1 to 20 packs. For 3 packs, the total reads $30 and 15,000 credits.
Pay
Select Buy pack, or Buy packs for more than one, and pay at checkout. You come back to Settings > Billing. The credits are added when the payment succeeds, and Available credits in Settings > Usage goes up.
Billing History
Billing History lists every payment and refund, newest first. Each line shows Payment or Refund, the date, the amount, a status (succeeded, processing, failed, or cancelled), and an Invoice link when there is one.
Manage your workspace
Open Settings > Workspace.
Tasks at once
Agent Task Concurrency sets the most tasks your squad works on at once: 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, or 10. The default is 2. Each running task needs about 800 MB of computer memory, so your workspace never runs more than it can hold. Tasks past the limit wait in Queued.
Restart the gateway
The gateway carries your squad's messaging connections, such as Telegram.
Select Restart gateway on the Agent Gateway card and confirm in your browser. You see "Agent gateway restarted". The connections drop for a moment and come back. Your workspace and its data don't change. The button works only while your workspace is ready.
Back up your workspace
A backup saves your squad, tasks, docs, tickets, Chat, and memory. With Include secrets and environment variables checked, it also saves your AI account keys, your Telegram bot token (the code that connects your bot), and your saved logins. Without secrets, it leaves saved logins out entirely. It never holds your app connections.
Name the backup
Under Data & Backups, find Create a backup. Type a name in the backup name field, or leave it empty.
Decide on secrets
Include secrets and environment variables is checked by default. Clear it to leave your keys out.
Create it
Select Create Backup. The backup shows in the list with its name (or "Workspace backup"), the time, and "Secrets included" or "Secrets excluded". It reads Pending until it is done.
If you cleared the box and your workspace has saved logins, you're asked first: "Saved logins can only come along with secrets". The line under it says how many logins you have.
- Include secrets checks the box again and makes the backup with your logins.
- Leave logins out makes the backup without them.
If your workspace isn't running, SquadRoom can't count your logins. It doesn't ask, and the backup leaves them out.
Keep and delete backups
- Backups stay until you delete them.
- Select the star to pin a backup. A pinned backup's button reads Unpin to delete, so unpin it first.
- Select Delete and confirm. You can't undo it.
- A backup stuck on Pending shows Retry pending backup. A failed backup shows Failed and the reason.
Restore a backup
Start the restore
Select Restore on a finished backup and confirm. Don't start new tasks until it finishes.
Wait while the backup is applied
Your workspace stops, and a full-page screen replaces the dashboard. It reads "Restore is ready to continue", then "Restore needs attention" while the backup is applied. Stop and restore and Resume restore continue the same restore. They never start a second one.
Start the restored workspace
When you see "Restore complete", select Start workspace. In Settings > Workspace, the backup now reads Restored.
If you see "Restore could not finish", your original workspace is safe. Select Continue with original workspace.
A backup made without secrets restores with no saved logins. Add them again in Settings > Passwords & Logins.
Reset your workspace
Reset empties your workspace and sends you back to setup.
A reset always deletes:
- Your squad, tasks, docs, and workspace history.
- The setup conversation and everything it recorded.
- Your workspace's computer and its files, including saved logins.
You choose what else stays:
| Choice | What it keeps | Starts |
|---|---|---|
| Connected apps | Everything on the Integrations page, so you don't reconnect it | On |
| AI providers and models | Your API keys, sign-ins, and default model | On |
| Memory | What your squad remembers about you and your work | Off |
Anything you don't keep is deleted with the rest, so a reset clears your memory unless you keep it. When you don't keep connected apps, SquadRoom disconnects them, and you connect them again after setup.
A reset always keeps your backups, your subscription, and your credits. It also turns off Telegram and sets Agent Task Concurrency back to 2.
Open the reset
Under Danger Zone, find Reset Workspace and select Reset. The Reset workspace window lists what is deleted under "This will permanently delete:". Under "Choose what to keep:", tick what should stay.
Type the name
Type your workspace's name, shown in the window, into the box under it. A new workspace is named "Default Workspace". Reset workspace stays off until the name matches.
Reset
Select Reset workspace. You see "Resetting your workspace" until it is done, then setup starts again at STEP 1 OF 6. You don't pay again.
If you see "Reset needs another try", select Resume reset. It continues the same reset, with the same choices. The button shows after the reset has run for 3 minutes, or at once if the reset recorded an error.
If the screen also shows "Connected apps could not be disconnected:" and a reason, SquadRoom couldn't disconnect your apps. Resume reset tries again.
What you can't do here
- Delete your account. To do that, email [email protected] from your account's email address, and SquadRoom deletes the account and its data within 30 days. Reset empties the workspace and keeps your account.
- Change the plan. Launch is the only plan.
- Download a backup. A backup can only be restored here.
- Schedule backups. SquadRoom makes none on its own, so you create each one.
